What series is "lost" going up to??!

Question: Anyone no??

Answers: Anyone no??

A few more details. With the ratings sliding a little, ABC wanted the creators to put a certain time span on the series to increase fan interest - and it has worked somewhat. LOST is scheduled for 16 episodes for three more years including this year. A full season would be 22 episodes. Because of the strike, only 13 episodes will be finished in season 4. As a result, we now will get 19 episodes in Season 5 and the final 16 episodes in Season 6, ending in 2010 as mentioned above.

Note, as a general outline, here is how to understand the general plot of the final three seasons:

This "Oceanic 6" make it off the island, but one will die - exactly who will be revealed this season (Season 4, 2008 Spring). Season 4 is about who gets off the island and the fact that they need to get back. Season 5 is about why they need to get back (lot more real time, with different characters in different places - some on the island, some not), and season 6 is about what happens when they get back.

it's ending in 2010, so after this season (season 4) there is a fifth season and then the sixth season is the final season of it. (when it's finished there will have been 117 episodes, at the moment the next episode (on april 24th) is number 78)

6 Seasons I believe

There are supposed to be 2 more after this season- So 6 in total. Apparently, next season will be all about why they have to get off the island and how they did it, and the last season will be about their life back home. Either way, Lost is just so good! Hope I helped! =D

There are going to be two more seasons after this one, but they'll be "short" seasons. Originally, the first two seasons were ~24 episodes each, but the last two will be 16 epiodes each.
