How did you feel about Piers Morgan winning? (The Celebrity Apprentice)?!

Trace Adkins should of won hands down, he was far better than Piers Morgan.
I can't stand the fella, but he is very brave for constantly cashing in on his own notoriety. There's a great story with him and Jeremy Clarkson, where Clarkson punches him in the face and he doesn't go down - he just takes it, which makes Clarkson think that he either punches like a girl, or Piers is rock hard.
I understand that Pierce did raise more money than Trace did.. He knows a lot more people with big wallets.. However.. Trace would have still been my pick for the winner of Celebrity Apprentice...He has character and respect for others... And Pierce as we all saw it.. Was not nice to anyone... I was disappointed with the outcome... I really wanted Trace to win and show Pierce thats not the right way to do business...
I really wanted Trace to win. Piers did a good job of raising money, but he is a jerk. Maybe Donald had to pick him because of money raised.

He did a great job all the way through. I think he deserved it.
He deserved to win...he raised the most money by far and that's what Donald had to really base it on...plus I think Donald likes Piers for his ruthlessness towards business...he wasn't there to make friends...
I've read a lot of responses about how Trace should have won the show because he is a nice man, a gentleman and a truly likeable person. Believe me, I wanted Trace to win. I never really knew much about him before this show and having watched it I really like this guy. He touched my heart with his love and devotion for his family.
That being said, Piers was the correct choice. The show was about raising money for charity. The three criteria they were judged on for the final task was money raised from the auction, money raised from ticket sales and overall performance. Piers did a phenomenal job pulling out all the stops to get his associates to bid for prizes. He did a great job getting unique auction items that you couldn't buy anywhere else (tea with Fergie, come on, when else would you ever be able to do that).
His personality is rough but his heart was in the right place when it came to his charity. He could have picked any cause in the world and he picked wounded soldiers. You can't be a complete heartless jerk and pick such a worthwhile charity.
Over the course of the show I think I heard that he raised more than a half million dollars then all the other celebrities combined. How can you deny this fact? He played the game well and won the game. He might not have done it in the most pleasant of ways but he was successful.
Now take a look under my post for all the thumbs down (LOL!). I don't like Piers, but you don't have to like someone to recogzine they did a good job.

Piers dominated the competition. Won almost every event and did so in a tough manner. Trace is a great singer. Great guy. And genuinely sincere. But that won't win in the real world of business and corporate fundraising.
Trump got it right this time.
As much as I don't really care for the way Piers carried himself through the competition, he DID raise a ton of money. He owned up for his actions and made no apologies for them. As far as Trace.. there is no denying that he is a Great guy. He definetely tugged at everyone's heart strings! Although he didn't win in the end, I think he walked away feeling good about the awareness he put out there about his charity. Although he didn't win millions, he did get a good amount of money for his charity.
If it was about the good guy and a popularity contest, Trace would have won. But if Trump was looking at the overall goal.. which was to raise money, then Piers deserved to win.
I was so disappointed that he won, & that Trace Adkins didn't. He was the epitome of the apprentice: hard worker, team player, generous, not a camera hog..He was there for the right reasons, & never made trouble just for the h3ll of it..
I didn't care for him, but he did do a good job on many of the tasks. I liked Trace better as a person and I wanted him to win, but I was pretty sure The Donald was going to give it to Piers. I think he admires how much Piers can do, but can't stand his attitude.
BTW, didn't Omarosa looked like a complete fool last night?
As a person, I couldnt stand Piers, but as a business man, I see why he was chosen over Trace. Clearly, Trace is a better person than Piers, but Piers knows how to bring in the revenue, and at the end of the day, that is all that matters in business. I knew that Piers would win the competition from day one. Donald admired Piers because Piers was just like him.
I think Piers was GREAT! He played the game how Trump wanted it played and that's why he won. He raised so much money and that is the only thing Trump cares about.
I think Trump was way too hard on him saying he was the Evil one. Piers chose a Charity that helped wounded AMERICAN Soldiers. How cool is that? He gave half of his tickets away for the final event.
I think my favorite part was when Donald Jr. said that Piers didn't make as much in ticket sales. That made me laugh hysterically because Piers creamed Trace in the auction by over $250,000! How can you compare Trace winning over Piers by $15,000 and then Piers winning over Trace by over 15 times that much. Donald Jr. was really digging for that!
Piers won fair and square! Trace was nice but just didn't raise as much money.
I was mad. A good point was made that Piers is not necessarily a better fund raiser, he just knows more people with tons of money. The people Trace went to didn't have $100,000 to spend on a shopping trip with Trump's daughter. To Simon Cowell that was not a lot of money. I think Trace should have won, even the other contestants thought so. If Trace had the access to the peopl Piers does, he would have raised way more money than Piers.
i wanted him to lose too but he did play the game well but he's such an @sshole. i think he picked that organization just to help his chances at winning. he's a brit, what does he care about american troops?.....i wanted trace to win cuz he's super sexy and a really nice guy
It sucks. Piers did not deserve to win over Trace by a long shot. In the real business world he would never get by with his tactless , arrogant attitude. Most business people who have any sense would kick him to the curb the first time he opened his smart assed mouth. Trace on the other hand was diplomatic, smart and resourceful. This was a true injustice, hopefully Trump will realize it and award Trace the money for his charity as a result of popular opinion.
I can't believe that The Apprentice is even still on much less that people would want to be on it.
