How did the mother giraffe die on Animal Planet's Growing Up Giraffe?!
Question: I know she got sick, but I'm unsure how she actually died.
I believe it was cancer but I could be wrong.

I believe she died during childbirth, or giraffebirth.
The baby was sent to a wildlife preserve in California.
It's sad when you get attached to animals on those Animal Planet shows, and then the animals die. :-(
