I think he is adorable, so it doesnt bother me. I would adopt him in a second. I think it's just a nervous habit, but I also know from singing on stage myself the lights are dehydrating to skin and he probably needs someone to hand him some lip balm which would help.

yeah, its a habbit....i HAVE IT...i do it alot too...and my friends make fun of me and have pictures of me where it looks like like "sticking my tounge out" but i was caught licking my lips.. funnny, but its ok, my lips get really dry and when i talk my lips feel like they are being forced to strech when i talk so i have to lick them, so yeah....i doesnt bother me that he does it on his performing...
Because for some people their mouths get really dry, especially when singing. duh
