Who else is furious that Piers won the Celebrity Apprentice?!

FURIOUS!!!! Does not begin to cover it!!! I am not an Apprentice or Trump fan. I watched this purely for the celebrity & charity angle. I do, however, have a Bachelors & a Masters in Business & I wouldn't even begin to try to count the number of times that & number of different courses in which the importance of ethics & strong communication skills in business where taught! Those are the two areas where Piers failed miserably!!!
I think the Rolodex thing is debatable...The biggest disadvantage that Trace had was location & time (short notice for travel). Piers had A LOT of contacts in NYC. If they had been in Nashville or Atlanta or Memphis, does Piers have contacts in those cities? I'm sure Trace does! More to the point would all of Piers's wealthy $100K contributors have traveled to help Piers win. I doubt it & I certainly don't believe Piers would have used his own money to charter two planes to fly people 759 miles, like Trace did! That speaks to character, desire, & effort.
Celebrity Apprentice was the FIRST Apprentice that I watched & will be the LAST. (The only exception might be if they do another Celebrity Apprentice, but right now I wouldn't even watch that!)
Also, my heart sank, because I knew he was going to choose Piers thanks to the NBC online auction promo that was on just before the announcement...it said all the proceeds of the auction would be going to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
EDIT: To "Typos" - Thank you to you & your husband for your service to this country!!! I couldn't agree more with you that our service men & women need all the love, support, & help that we can offer them, but this contest wasn't about which charity was more deserving. Also, if I were a service person, I would be grateful to Piers, but I would also be embarrassed to have him represent me in ANYTHING!!! Keeping in mind some basic US military mottos & creeds that Piers apparently doesn't uphold:

true, but you knew if it was a matter of the most money, he would get it, sure wanted Trace to get it though.
I REALLY wished that Trace Adkins won he really deserves the money to help both his daughter and many other children out there with his charity

Piers is brilliant and direct and he is much more brilliant than the all the Yank tossers.
Trace never won any contest as project manager and I believe he has not raised much money for his charity until to final episode.
To be fair, Piers can not be an a.r.s.e if he can just phone people and ask for big amount of money like that. Fergie likes him. Gordon ( Hell's Kitchen ) likes him.

what really? piers won??? the show just started right now where i live. awww i wanted so much for trace to win.
Trump wanted someone slimy such as himself, someone even slimier then himself so he'd look "good". Around Trace he'd look gross and ugly, with Piers he still looks good in a gutter sort of way.
Unfortunately, people don't understand that in business, you need tact. You need to respect your employees and stakeholders.
Piers had no tact (at least he didn't use any), disrespected his "employees" and the only reason he won (as Trump Jr alluded) is because his rolodex is bigger than Trace's.
But from the beginning, I knew that each task would be a matter of which contest knew more "Big Guns" that would be willing to spend their money. He's the only one who did that well throughout the show and he's the only one who had the ability to bring in the people with the big money in the final contest.
What upsets me most is that Trump only added $250,000 out of his own pocket at the end. I mean, the guy is a billionaire!! That would be like the Average Joe donating $50. I mean, good that he at least donated something... but still, that irked me.
In the end, Trump picked the guy most like himself. I knew he was going to pick Piers when he said "People don't like me either".
i agree, i am furious too. trace is very kind, thoughtful, and as trump's son said, everything trace says has meaning to it. piers is a big mouth, and as u said, has a bad attitude.
i am past pissed that a back stabbing Brit won when trace deserved it more
Not me. I thinks Piers did a great job. He must have done something right because DONALD TRUMP chose him and he has the money to say who did the best job. Donald Trump must have some business sense because he has TONS of money.
I think most people wanted Trace to win because he is nice guy. But, Piers kicked his a*s in the money raised. Piers raised almost $400,000 in ticket sales and the auction. Trace raised around $100,000!! There really was no competition when you crunched the numbers!
