Which show is better? Sapranos or The Wire?!
Question: I would have to say The Wire...without a doubt! I would even say The Wire is/was one of the best TV dramas ever.
Every season of the wire is like a work of art, where every single component is meaningful and the artist is aware of their creation throughout the entire process (unlike LOST). It's too bad HBO had to shorten the final season. Now what does HBO have to offer that compares to The Wire, The Sopranos, Rome, Deadwood, etc.??? Thankfully we have Showtime that offers amazing shows like Dexter, Weeds, and the Tutors.
