Do you think that CSI is way too overrated?!
Question: I mean come on, it's suppose to be a Crime Drama and the show mostly focuses on Scientists doing weird experiments. I mean if I want to watch a Scientist examining bodies, I'de watch the Discovery Channel. If you really want to watch a "True" Crime Drama, Watch Law & Order, because it gives a realist look at how detectives and prosecutors do their work.

The 'wierd experiements' is what happens. Law & Order doesn't show the criminologists, just the police officers and lawyers. The clean side. CSI is down and dirty, and shows much of what really happens. If you don't like it, just change the channel. But obviously CSI is fantastic, since it's the highest in ratings.
If you don't have the stomach to watch what really goes on at crime scenes and in the lab, watch Law & Order. It's okay, but too stuffy for me. However, if you want to see the hands on stuff, CSI is the show for you.
CSI isn't about detectives and prosecutors. It's Crime Scene Investigation. You won't see lawyers in their impeccable suits at a decomp.
I hate CSI! I love Saw and Order SVU, I watching it right now!
It's television, not real life. It's entertainment. Watching a show about the "true life" of a CSI would be pretty boring actually, at least to the usual fan.
I know that real CSIs don't do all that stuff, are not all gorgeous, and don't live such exciting lives full of drama. I still love the show! I like Law and Order, too.
It's entertainment. I'm employing a "suspension of disbelief."
I love CSI watcha talking about. Of course ur a guy wanting ACTION but there's nothin wrong with the Geeky aspect of crime scenes. Wow you really got me there Im gonna go watch Family guy now
my boyfriend and I recently started watching CSI and we like it a lot but aparently you don't at all. I guess it's all just preference
YES, I watched a few episodes when it first aired and thought it was ok, I watched one episode a few nights ago and it was so lame and boring. I think they should through in the towel already. but either way i've never been a big fan.

I love CSI and CSI: NY and I aslo like watching Law and Order: SVU
I think the interesting part about CSI is how humans can kill for such weird reasons. And showing how relationships between humans can be so conflicted.
