no please, too long, boring, it was good back then.
No. Hated that book so didn't watch anything on TV or in the theater about it. Guy fathers a child and then is holier than thou and still becomes a priest telling other people how sinful they are, etc. It annoyed me.

NO, I wouldn't. I watched the show, but, I totally believed that the star was a fellow who did not take responsibility for his behaviour at all. I really disliked the 'star'.
I was always crazy about Richard Chamberlain, even after I found out he was gay I'd like to see The Thorn Birds again, even though Rachel Ward is a rather bad actress.
As for the holier-than-thou priest, etc. -- it may be annoying, but it's certainly true-to-life.
IMO, they should run Roots again. That would be a worthy series to show on prime time. There is a whole generation that has never seen it.
