Question: Is it me or are the contestants getting more ballsy with the judges? Take Spike and Andrew last night. Were they just a bit more aggressive than contestants in previous seasons?

I know what you mean ! They really were out there last night .
After hearing Andrew's comments at Judges Table I was waiting to hear what the Judges would say in response about it during there deliberations but they didn't say a word ! They didn't even address it. Which was strange....
Of course it could also be that the Producers decided that they want to keep both Andrew and Spike around for Drama and so they politely left those judges comments on the editing room floor. Which is probably the more likely scenario !
It looks like we are in for a real doozy of a season this time around !

When that Andrew guy starting spouting how he wasn't going anywhere and this was his house...I hate that...I would have sent him packing right then...the others dishes must have been really bad.
I can't believe that they are so rude to the judges. I think their over confidence will get the best of them in the end.
So far this season no one really sticks out as having a great chance at winning so they should all be humble and listen to what the judges have to say or they don't stand a chance.

I agree with MD, I would have sent Andrew home.
put yourself in their positions. they felt as if they won the block party. i think they DID win. ask anyone in the block party and they will say the red team won. they made the perfect food for the kiddies (street food come to think of it) and did it for the soul of cooking. the blue team just played to the judges with their stuff, and you can see the difference between the two. the red team was in it for the fun of things, and you can see that with the beer, basketball and playing with the kids. the blue team just basically did whatever they can to win rather than going their for the sake of it.
