they use a lot of pop culture references to boost the comedic structure. Also the characters do some of the stupidest things imaginable. the show does use a lot of racism in which use stereotypes to encourage the character actions by race. They have cut aways in the episodes were a character recalls an experience that they have endured that some how seems to relate to whats happening at the time. It's no doubt a very popular show that airs on
