This season, or overall?
This season it would be David Cook, but out of all seven seasons it'd be Bo Bice, most definitely. Even though he didn't win.
Kelly Clarkson, the original. With Elliott Yamin a close second.
From this season, definitely David Cook.
From past, probably Kelly Clarkson.
Maybe even Carrie Underwood. I'm certainly not a country person but she makes me..not hate country music. Hahah.

yes i agree i love Bo Bice also and this season David Cook even though he has not won yet but he will but i guess as for real winners(American Idols ) i would have to say Carrie even though she beat Bo and Fantasia Burrino,when she sings i get chills all over i like Brook to but she is just a contestant not an idol yet
well, this season i like ramiele malubay, and i've been supporting her since the beginning, no matter what everyone else is saying...she does have a great voice and deserves to make it far in the competition...i think people just need to stop doubting her talent in order to see her amazing voice and when she choses the right song that fits her voice, she can definitely make it far...also, she has a great personality and it seems like she gets along well with everyone, which could also take her far...

if you're talking about who's my favorite idol that has already been crowned during past seasons, that would be carrie underwood...she's very versatile, and can cover different genres of music... she's practically the most successful idol there is to date...
I absolutely love Brooke White! Her voice gives me the chills too. Wow! And when she sang "Let It Be" it was a whole new level. That was I think the best performance this season. I hope she wins. ;)

DAVID ARCHULETA! he has a voice of an angel! i dont really like david cook because i think hes a wanna-be of chris dautry and his voice isnt something i would listen to to soothe me.
