I think that you are referring to the first season of Dexter, and I would like to say that you really don't want to have the twist spoiled for yourself, because it turns out to be one heck of a twist, and you will enjoy it better if you don't know. Just sit tight and enjoy the ride!!!

Dexter is the Bay Harbor Butcher, and his long lost brother, which is also Deb's BF, is the Ice Truck Killer.
I know who it is cos I've seen seasons 1 and 2 but I can't just give it away!

The doctor (Rudy) who helped the security guard two weeks ago is the ice truck killer. He turns out to be Dexter's brother Brian (Biney). Both witnessed their mother's murder and sat blood soaked in a cargo container for days before being found by Harry. Brian was too old for Harry to adopt and try to erase what had happened so he went into the public system.
When he returns to find Dex, he finds that they are the same inside. He then sets out to free Dexter from his remaining issues (Harry's code).
they have showed the show Dexter on showtime... we on season 2 the end of it... its Dexter doing the killings... its a very good show keep with it!
the ice truck killer turns out to be Deb's boyfriend... who in the end turns out to be Dexter's brother.... and dexter kills him.. and leaves him where the Ice truck killer... killed all of his victims...
