NBC Heroes theory about niki?!
Question: It seems that Niki and Jessica share one body, but not completely. For some reason Jessica has a tatoo. If jessica doesn't share the tatoo is it possible then that one personality decided not to share th damage from the explosion, seems farfetched.
But in the future Peter talks about niki looking in the mirror and nobody looking back.
Also something was done similar to this in the british show Jeckle (not sure on spelling). Where "Mr. Hyde" gets pumped full of lead but does not share the damage with his alter ego

Nikki is the real person but created Jessica as a coping mechanism, like some people do when they cant cope with something in their lives, they create another personality (split personality), but you'll find in later issues that nikki is alot stronger than jessica and she banishes her due to her overwhelming love for her child and her husband, thats why when she looks in the mirror its only her image looking back, but that being said, she decides to work with a new version of the company and is on medication so whether jessica will end up overpowering her again is anyones guess. If you notice on a lot of the crime shows like csi and law and order, the split personalities even speak different, its only because they are "unaware" of the other personalities, confused yet?
But remember that peter also lost his memory, and was found in Ireland after his brother flew him into the sky blew up like the atomic bomb, but the company knew where he was and tried to get him to work with them, and sylar has no powers at all, he used to absorb others powers but now had none at all, we'll just have to wait and see whats going to happen, hope that helps, goodluck!!!
