I actually liked it.
A good performance need not be overly dramatic with screaming voices, gimicky or stolen arrangements (ehem...)
I would pay to come and watch a performance like that. But then again the judges want drama. They're crazy, you see.
They slam Jason for doing what he likes and then not comment on Brooke's same old arrangement and piano playing. They've been inconsistent with the application of their standard really.
But for as long as Jason sails through this week, I'm sure he'll blow them away pretty soon.
He's got the props and the charm. And charm is something that can not, and I do mean can not be learned nor acquired, you're either born with it or not. Unfortunately for the other frontrunners, with the exception of angelic David A., they just don't have it.

I thought it was too predictable, and boring though I really like him. I think he is "at risk".
I love Jason, I think he's a great performer and I liked him last night, but have you noticed that all his songs are slow? He hasn't sung a upbest song yet. I really think he needs to get faster songs with more viraity if he wants to stay.
I always love what Jason does. He is an incredible singer. And he looks pretty good too!!

He is the younger crowd and lonely wives favorite because of his bedroom eyes. As far as a singer, he should just stick to entertaining his friends at the local coffee shops. He isn't that great. Not even close. The sad thing is, he will hang in there to the end with David A because of the pretty boy act.
Like all of his "performances" it was predictable and boring. All the songs he sings he cares little for, and has already admitted not "practicing" the song much on the guitar before the performance. Sorry, but when your on a show as popular as American Idol you need to show a little more effort and respect to the artist song your singing. Plus his intelligence annoys me, sounds like goofy on a Disney cartoon...every interview, and pretty much anytime he talks he sounds like he just got done smoking a huge blunt and giggles the whole time...

We know you're obviously in love with him judging by your previous questions as well...no problem with that, it's just that he's too shy, boring and predictable..I'm sure he'll put out a CD when Idol ends and you can go see him on the Idol tour and throw him your panties...
