Question: I watched Idol Tonight I noticed Similaries to what randy Said to Ramiele Chikeze and Carly Tonight Even Simon was as hard on them or Being Nice like Paula was to them Even when Simon Said to jason You sound like a Street Performer and to David Archuleta Sounding like An Amusement Park Entertainer It didn't Compare to Randy Saying to Ramiele "Your Voice Sound Bad Because you're sick" to Chikeze " You're Too Old School to Make It today", and to Carly "Your Song Didn't Match Because It was Strachy at the End" Simon Just Said " You Need to Work On Picking Better Songs" That's It.

I too think Randy was very hard last night.I am really tired of the way he says things!! I wish they would replace him.
To be honest I think the only opinion in that show that must be taken serious is whatever Randy says. He knows about music more than any one... Paula is completely out of her mind and Simon, well is Simon...
Randy wasn't feeling too well, so I think he was a little cranky. Simon is mean to the same people each week and overly nice to people he thinks can win it all.
I didn't really see it as mean, I think it was constructive criticism. Randy is hardly ever mean to the idols and sometimes you need to be a bit stern to get them to do their best and make it far. Randy wasn't mean to Brooke when she re-started "Every Breath You Take".
I still think Paula is trippin' out on something everytime she does a show though...Did you see those gloves she was wearing? It looked like she had cut the fingers off ten seconds before the show aired...

Here's the thing:
Simon may be harsh but he is nearly always right.
Randy isn't.
I noticed the same thing tonight and wondered if maybe Randy is trying to edge in on Simon to be the guy you love to hate. Simon is by far the most interesting judge and the one who both the fans and the contestants wait to hear.
I DO think Randy was the most harsh, but even Paula had more negative things to say tonight than Simon...weird! What's up with that?!
I think Randy was mostly right tonight. He was honest and didn't just love everything everyone did. Simon was good tonite too and Paula was as flaky as ever.
