Personally, I really want David Archuleta to win. I have to agree with you on the voice of an angel and down to earth thing! Promise! HIs voice is so powerful, but he can also make it sweet and everything! And he really is adorable too! I mean, the first time I saw him and heard him sing (as in San Diego auditions), I already loved him! But what really impressed me most is the fact that he is very down to earth. When he gives a great performance, he just smiles at the good comments he hears and never fails to say "Thank you." But when he gets bad comments, he doesn't get all flippy and talk back to the judges. He just gracefully takes the critisism and works on it.
Sadly, based on tonight's performance, david cook is currently on the lead. I actually used to like him. You, know, like next to Archuleta, he's my pick? But after seeing his ego, I was really turned off. I mean, the moment simon gave him a bad comment, he went all flippy. And when he gets good comments, he doesn't say even a small thank you.
I love the Australian guy...he has all the package to be a star!
I like David Archuleta too but David Cook is also really good. And Michael Johns is good. He started off boring but he got better.
I think it will be David Archuleta, but you can't rule out David Cook, he is favored too and can really put a new spin on those old favorites! I like the purity of brooke White's voice, but she won't win it, i love Carly Smithson, but she doesn't hold a candle up against the two Davids!

I personally don't like David Archuleta...I listen to the first 20 seconds of a song and I change the channel...to me he is too boring and I can't see how he made it further than Danny Noriega (sp?)
I never listened to David Cook until tonight just because I wanted to figure out what song he was singing and when I realized it was Billie Jean, and seen how bad he butchered it I changed the channel.
That other guy, Michael Johns...I just noticed him and I kinda liked the Queen thing tonight but, other than that i honestly have never noticed him before.
I hope that it's either Carly or Brooke that wins.
They are the only 2 that are truly in the competition in my eyes and they're the only reason I watch the show. As soon as they are both done I go and watch something else.
Brooke has such a good voice and her arrangements are always amazing.
Carly has got such a powerful voice but, I don't think she could sing a song that was as calm as some of the songs that Brooke can cover.
Either way, they both can't cover both. They have their own genres that if they switched to something else it might be a bit odd to watch.
Jason Castros on the other hand could wipe them all out. He has a voice good for belting out songs and insane for songs like "Hallelujah" (sp?).
So, my top 3 are Carly, Brooke and Jason.
I hope that Kristy Lee goes home...she butchers every song she can get her hands on. GAWD I liked Amanda better than her. S:

David Cook. David Archuleta blew it, this is his second time doing a horrible performance. He's good but way too inconsistent. His good days all sound the same but on his bad days, he is BAD. Unfortunately, he's a super cute likable guy, but definitely not Idol material. David Cook has my votes.

My pics are exactly like yours. I think it's very likely David Archuleta will win it. David Cook came on strong tonight. Maybe Jason Castro gets into the top 2, I think he has a big fan base. I don't see any sensational girls this year, no one of memorable talent and none has the stage presence needed. I think eventually it will get down to David A. and David Cook and Archuleta will win.

Carly Smithson..she has a lot of versatility, and Archuleta is picking the STUPIDEST song choices even though he is probably one of the best if not the best. Okay...he should of held off with Imagine and had something to sing during Beatles week that was amazing...Then, Another day in Paradise should have been sung LAST night, it was a song from his birth year that inspired him, but instead he chose...WHAT? no one is sure. Being left with no song that he even liked to sing! NOT SMART.
