Which American Idol contestant has the biggest fan base besides david archuleta?!
Question: Realistically speaking, Little David has the biggest fan base.
He was able to build a huge following from the onset of the competition. Plus the fact that the kid truly has talent (despite what haters say), and of course that cherubic face and colgate smile add to the likability factor.
Next to him, I would say it is JASON CASTRO who has the biggest following. When he first appeared in the Top 24 performance night and sang Daydream, I could practically hear the audience gasp at the sight of the dreadlocked, guitar playing, blue-eyed, ethereal man ( that was never featured during the earlier rounds). Plus, how else can one explain the phenomenal climb of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah to the number one spot on ITunes after Jason Castro performed it on AI?
He is also charismatic, high on the likability chart, skilled musician, and has a unique sound. Forums and threads also reveal that he is behind only David Archuleta when it comes to diehard loyalistas.
David A. and Jason, most certainly, are the two contestants with the most adoring, teary eyed, screaming, screeching fans.
As for the girls, I would say it is RAMIELE MALUBAY. Very pretty, massive voice, fantastic personality; polite and seems really nice. She would probably win Miss Congeniality if a vote was taken from among the contestants and the production staff. Even not-so-good-song choices has kept her safe. That can only be explained by the backing of the fan base.
Of course fan base won't guarantee the safety of the contestants as the competition progresses and the number of singers dwindle. So it is important not to be complacent with the existence of fan bases. Voting is still the key. So if you're an Archuleta, a Castro or Malubay fan- you know what to do, pick up the phone and dial.
