Dancing with the Stars vs. American Idol?!
Question: Please only answer if you actually regularly watch both shows!!! Which one do you like more/think is better? I personally like Dancing more cause I think Idol has become too much sort of, you know? Best answer gets 10 points!

personally i like both but if i had to choose it would be dancing with the stars! because idol has become so overated latley and the votes are based on popularity not how good you can sing. and i dont think dancing with the stars is like that, and its more fun to watch because you can get up and try to dance like they do. lol
I like Idol better because of David Archuleta lol!
Plus I like to sing more than I like to dance so I like to watch other people sing.
Idol no contest
I do watch both shows regularly, but for some reason, I'm still a bigger fan of American Idol. I find myself fast forwarding through parts of Dancing With The Stars, but I never seem to do that with American Idol. I think it's because Dancing With The Stars is very repetitive. After a while, alot of the dances all seem the same, and the music is outdated. American Idol holds my attention more often. I was disappointed in the two full weeks of Beatle songs, which I found sounded kind of rinky-dink. But it was refreshing to see David Cook put a rocker spin on some of them.

I like american Idol better because they are amatures, dancing with the stars I have one problem with, the dancing they do seem to not keep time with the music, its like they are danceing too slow for the tempo of the music, other dance shows like the one on pbs ball room dance contest or "so you think you can dance" reality show, their ball room dances are in line with the tempo and they use more traditional songs that go with the dances they are performing. and they look better and more proffessional doing it even though they are amatures. does anyone else see it this way or is it just me. like when jerry springer was on dancing with the stars, he ruined it for me. ever since then it seemed like the dances they do are a mere mockery of what the dance should be.
That's a toss-up. I love both shows. I don't like them overlapping, so I record one and watch it later. I guess I prefer DWTS the best.
both are fun to watch because you can vote for your favorites whether they are talented or not, I voted for Marie Osmond because I liked her personality but I vote for the singers that sing well and have personality I like as well, I know what I like to listen to, but I know nothing about dancing and never have any clue if they miss steps or screw up on the dance floor, the Dancing judges always judge their talent and steps but I like the AI judges opinions on the singers more. I usually agree with at least 1 of the judges usually Paula I just like the AI
judges personalitys better then dancing ones.
