Question: In the same restaurant scene, Marcie was seen eating a massive wedge of chocolate cake. The scene shifted over to someone else in the restaurant and came back to Marcie 2 minutes later, showing her finishing off a bowl of ice cream.
Are these writers showing Big Marcie's eating habits for a specific reason? Will we ever see her in a role showing a more healthier Marcie in the future or will they exploit the stereotype of a junkfood-eating ,out of control, unhappy fat girl?

first she has to get over all the baby drama. I find her character annoying and it has nothing to do with how she looks.
I can't stand Marcie and I don't care what she looks like she is so irritating

Yeah, oh that scene was so erotic, Marcie is a purring sex kitten; i was imagining her totally naked in that scene licking the spoon suggestively, with chocolate ice cream around her lips. Bliss!

Well poor Marcie's been through a lot! Of course some of it her own making but let the girl have a piece of cake! Marcie started out as a mean character and turned herself around to be an educator and a doctor wife and look where all that hard work got her! I'd be unhappy too! Sure the writers may have that up their sleeves too, make Marcie a role model and show the rest of us that if you're not a size 2 you're worthless

Well MArcie has said she has an eating problem and with all the stress in her life right now, it is no wonder. More power to her!
Marcie actually started out as trying to be Jenn's friend by nearly any means possible.
I am indifferent with Marcie. But she is one of the most interesting characters on the show. I would want to watch her any day compared to Natalie, Jared, Adrianna, and a couple others.
It makes sense though that we would see Marcie engorge on food. It's almost expected even though I never remember seeing her eat a lot. And, doing that scene was probably a little uncomfortable for the Kathy because it is stereotypical flaw of an overweight person.

i know! i bet she is pregnant! they said she couldn't have a baby so natually she will since this is a soap she will probably have twins!
