I just started watching B&B on like Wendsday?!
Question: Ok So I know that B&B and Y&R are Sister shows. I have been watching Y&R since I was born and my Mom grew up on Y&R (I am only 17). Anyways I know Jack Abbott and some people from Y&R had to go to B&B for some buisness at this place called Forrester (I think thats the name) and I know that Sheila Carter was always on B&B and Y&R. I also know that Amber used to be on B&B. I have only watched B&B once and all I know is that this Girl on there named Brooke (I think thats her name) is a drunk and has a Baby. I just figured out that these people named Stephanie and Eric are Ex-Husband and Wife. Thats all I know but I would love to start watching it since it kinda relates to Y&R and I love that show so can someone like give me the history of the show and of the Characters Thanks.

Nope you got it twisted TAYLOR is the one with the drinking problem she and Brooke are fighting over baby Jack.to make it short basically Taylor couldn't conceive a baby so she went to the fertility clinic for an egg well Brooke was there also or had been there anyway there was a mix up at the lab and Taylor ended up with Brook es egg so there for Brook is actually Baby Jacks biological mother.and to make things even more complicated Taylor's ex Nick is back in Brooks arms and she is currently seeing Brook es son Rick.Brooke has a long history of wanting men only when she them with someone else she is sort of a whore and always has been she has dated all of the Forrester men Eric,Thorn's,Ridge and as for Eric and Stephanie it seems like every year Eric wants to leave the marriage i cant understand why he doesn't just leave for good.

There are two woman on there who are the main characters of the show,,,One is Brooke Logan,,SHE is a man stealing woman ( and I use that term loosley ) and has 2 children from Eric Forrester,,Bridget and Rick
and one from Ridge ( Eric's son ) (RJ ) she has been in love with Ridge since the show started about 20 years ago,,,AND has another child with her daughters (bridget) exhusband Decon,,but hes no longer on the show( childs name Hope )
Brooke is never happy with the man she is with,,she always wants what she can or shoulde'nt have
Taylor is the woman that is a drunk and has a baby,,BUT the baby was invitro and the egg was of Brooke,,,
They have been swaping men on and off for years.
Taylor is a shrink,,,BUT could use one herself,,Since she found out the the egg belonged to Brooke she has been crazy,,,seeing Brooke when she was now where in site,,drinking again
she sobered up after she hit a family member and killed her
Then Rick ( Brooks son ) has been trying to help her sort out her feelings because the Judge gave Nick custody of their baby ( Nick, Taylor and Brookes baby ) because she started drinking again due to everything that happened ( her husband told her that he still in love with Brooke and he thought she should live with it but she couldent so she left )anyway,,back to Rick,,He was a
boyfriend of Taylors daughter at one time( Phobee )

I had to do so much research on characters when I started watching the Young and the Restless again. There were so many new people that I didn't know who they were. So I know the pain you're going through. haha
Well first off Brooke is not a drunk, she says she loves Ridge but who knows.It's either him or Nick.And Stephanie & Eric are still married,but he's having an affair with Donna (Brooks sister).Taylor is the one that just had a baby.She is married to Nick,they wanted a baby but she couldn't conceive so they went to a fertility clinic.As you might guess Brooke went there to put her eggs in storage,and low & behold the eggs that were implanted in Taylor were Brooks (what a mix up).So Taylor started drinking again & Nick went to court & got custody of baby Jack.Taylor left & went back to her own house.Now Rick (Brooks son by Eric)is trying to console Taylor.BROTHER!!!!Taylor is proberly the one you mean that has a baby & drinking.Hope this helped in some small way.
