It was stories of two pairs of newlywed couples living next door to each other in a converted Victorian house, and ran for just 6 episodes on the BBC back in 1954.
It starred:
Peter Butterworth as George Bird
Janet Brown (real wife of Peter Butterworth) as Constance Bird
Benny Lee as Arthur Honeybee
Avril Angers as Maisie Honeybee

Well I can remember the programme and the theme tune ,but not how it started ,also know is Wife Janet Brown was his wife in the programme and they lived next door to the Honeybees or something like that ,You are going back a bit here
