Adam and Shelia have a secret alliance .
They are pretending to hate each other to throw the others off. They are staging fights and Shelia keeps reminding Adam what a great actress she is and how she can make people believe anything.

I read on Mortys earlier that Sheila & Adam are acting like they don't like each other so people don't think they're together. Since James won POV, Sharon offered herself up as a pawn, that way Josh doesn't get nominated and act crazy. It also ensures that Chelsia goes home. Everyone has pretty much told Chelsia that they are getting rid of her.
