she played ruth in eastenders married to mark fowler I think and she is scottish but so irritating so I know what you mean
yes it is a very strong accent. it seems to have got even stronger since she was in eastenders nearly 10 years ago.

I have to say she isn't very convincing as a cop and she does have a very broad Scottish accent. I carried on watching though!

here people either speak very quickly, or very politely
she is neither , she speaks glaswegian, s-l-o-w-l-y
and so out comes out like that
