Why does mtv humiliate people?!
Question: I mean come on, these people are overly dramatic,especially tht alyssa girl who supposidly had tourettes. i mean come on, did u hear the way she cussed, totally fake. if u by into this crap you have no life. why do these people humiliate themselves on tv? the answers simple to get money cause they need it. these people are making themselves look like ******* idiots. Sports are real and mtvs not. its more drama then a reality show. hell i should make my own drama show lol thtd be funny as hell. the people on the shows blame there problems for somethin they cant get. it is sooooooo annoying. please stop mtv is a cancer that we cant get rid of.

When it comes to TV programs it's 100% about ratings. Producers of any show might ask the people on the reality show to do certain things to create interest in the show. People love and are addicted to drama and drama creates ratings. I tried watching some of the MTV shows a couple of times, but after a couple minutes I've turned it off. Watching a couple minutes of a couple different shows a couple of times is more than enough to realize that all MTV shows are idiotic and I've stopped listening years ago. I remember once this 16 year old girl wanted a certain car and her parents bought her another type of car, so the girl threw a tantrum. 2 minutes of that made me say never again to MTV. Seriously Does MTV play music videos any more? Sports on the other hand are great and are not staged.

Cuz it's ran by a bunch of idiots who have nothing better to do.
how it works: people think of ideas (good & bad) of what would make a good show. a producer (who makes good & bad choices) who thinks the idea is good picks it up & dishes out money for it to be filmed, etc. it's put on the air at a certain time, a time that hopefully their *target audience* will be most likely to be watching it. and they sit back and wait.
mean while on *our* end of the bargain, we hear about this new show and check it out based on the genre, cast, & synopsis (description) of the show. we either watch it or we don't. those who *do* watch give that show's air time an actual view... and give them a reason to keep the show in production. if there's very few people watching, the show will inevitably be canceled. but if there are more and more viewers each day, each week, and each month - they will keep giving the audience what they watch, which is in turn what the audience wants.
these days a lot of the viewers out there want Reality TV, which a lot of is nothing but drama... but right now that's what's "selling", it works, and producers know it. the numbers in the viewings show it and prove it to them.
hate the show? don't tune into that channel at the alotted time slot. and soon they'll have so little viewers they'll have to cancel the show b/c of "very little interest"
Shows like "Veritas" was canceled b/c of that same reason, and that show was cool! (to me at least)
It would be ridiculous to believe that all (or many) things on TV are real or not staged, but I think it's foolish for you to act as though you have any idea about whether or not that girl has tourettes or not. There are many forms of tourettes, they dont all just involve cussing. This isn't a f**king episode of south park, this is a real syndrome, and like all things, it's different for everyone who has it. It's really disgusting to me how close minded some people can be. To be completely ignorant about something and still act as though you even have the ability to give a valid opinion on a subject is just asinine. It seems as though you have a lot to learn about life and the world we live in. Good luck with that.
For someone who doesn't like MTV you sure know alot about those shows . So i guess you don't have a life yourself there . You just humiliated yourself and a idiot . Funny part about it is that your not even on MTV to make yourself look like an a**
As long as they continue to get decent ratings, they will keep putting this dreck on TV..The only way to stop it is by NOT WATCHING..
