the last i heard, the show will be ending after season 6. omg, it cant tho. (gasping)
The show was supposed to end in 2010, but with the writer's srike and all it'll probably go a little past that.
There will be a 5th season. Looking at a lot of the fan sites, they have spoken of penning in deals up to season 7. Not sure how accurate this is though - they do plan to have an ending.

Yes, they have confirmed there will be 6 seasons and it will be done in 2010, and there might be a movie after that.
