What is the story with Michael on Lost?!
Question: I know this is going to require a rather long answer, but I seemed to have forgotten what happened to Michael after he was on the raft with Sawyer. Last night's episode was so confusing because my memory of Michael's story on the island is missing. Can anyone give me a quick run down of what has happened to Michael on the island since the raft? I thought he was dead!

He came back to the island and eventually went down into the hatch. While he was at the computer that you had to enter the numbers into he received a message from Walt. The messages told him where to go to find Walt. He took some guns and headed off into the jungle to find his son. Eventually he came back. He was in the hatch with Ana Lucia and they were holding Ben captive. Michael shot Ana Lucia so he could set Ben free. Then LIbby walked in and he shot her too. Michael then shot himself to make it look like Ben had escaped on his own. Later MIchael took Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurly into the jungle. It was actually a plan to take them all to the others. When the others had captured Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurly, they let Michael have Walt and gave them a boat on which they could leave. That was the season 2 finale and that was the last time we had seen Michael since last week's episode.
The others had him, they made a deal with him - if he brought back Ben and 5 specific survivors (Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley & Locke - I think) that they would give Walt back to Michael and let them go free. While he was trying to get Ben he ended up shooting the 2 women who came from the tail section of the plane.
