LOL, that reminds me of Scary Movie, I think the 3rd one. Simon Cowell got what he deserved there :-)
He's just getting irritated with people who got delusions and wasting the time of the judges which can be very annoying.

how about making him listen to that guy who sang the "you are my brother" song... for like 10 hours

Aw, c'mon, Simon is a huge draw for the show, and I gotta say that he has been so much more polite and mellow this year than any other that I have been wondering what is going on.
Simon may say things bluntly, but sometimes that is what is needed. It is amazing how often he is right.
Don't let him get you down, try to just enjoy the others, and to realize that everyone knows most of his cranky is just for show.

I would have him sit and listen to choice gems of Latin American music genres like reggeton, Norteno, Grupero, Cumbia, Vallenato, Tropa Colombiana, Banda, Duranguense, and in particular one guy who always sang off key and somehow managed to become famous after having been shot to death after a show, Mr. Valentin Elizalde, with all due respect for the deceased.
I guess that after a couple hours of this he will learn to appreciate the efforts of the candidates.
