Why was Carly in the Bottom three?!
Question: Being a little older than probably most of the idol watchers, I think Carly is absolutely an awesome singer. However, she must stop displaying her tattoos. She can not tell America that she just got another tattoo and she must leave her tattoo covered husband at home. Once she makes it, she can display what ever she wants.

She's a former professional who's had a contract before; her first record was a failure. She's all hype.
I don't even understand why she's on the show, and I think she should be DQ'd because she'd worked with Randy Jackson prior to being on Idol.

I don't know why she was in the bottom unless it was to throw us off. It's possible that people believed that everyone else would be voting for her, so they voted for the next best thing.. maybe people should wake up and remember to vote for the best, and not assume everyone else will..remember what happened with Daughtry?
Coz shes not as good as she think she is.AI is a popularity contest and she already proven to be a failure ,she had a record deal right .but no chance she thought she can make noise in AI but shes wrong again..

This is true but the record was being produce but no company wanted to buy or promote it because it sucks..she was given over a 100 k in advance and a free place to live ,she is a failure in the music industry..Sorry..
I guess everyone thought she was safe. I did. I gave her a few votes but gave more votes to Amanda because I feared she may be at risk. Now I wish I voted more for Amanda to save her, but if i had, I could've lost Carly, who I like more. It's like, do I vote for my favorite who had the best performance or my fave who may be at risk? And to save one, you may be sacrificing the other. Plus, you have no idea how everyone else is voting, so it's just unpredictable. But now that it's Top 10 and one of my faves is out, ALL of my votes are going to David C, Carly and Brooke. I'm not losing one of them if I can help it.
I don't know it doesn't make any sense to me. Her vocals are far superior to anyones including Archuleta. She is simply in her own league. And to correct someone: She happened to be the best performer last week to the same theme (Beatles)! She therefore fell victim to this expanded theme thing they did this year and it should never be done again for this reason. Also, this happens a lot...the ones who are the best are just assumed by voters to be safe and so they vote for others because they are more concerned with protecting those they don't want to see leave. Carly couldn't have proven her self stronger up to this point, so she had to take the sacrifice so the right person could be voted off. Get it?? Furthermore, if older people watched, like 30 year old range people, than she would be getting ALL the votes, but young people keep David A, who is great but needs some maturing in his performance, Jason, Danny, Kady...people like those, which also does not make sense for them to be in the running when you really think about it from their standpoint(older audience, don't know exactly but older than say...15??) Anyway, I appreciate you putting the question out there.
