Unfortunately, nip/tuck won't air new episodes again until next year. Even more unfortunately, it isn't looking like September, but rather Spring of 2009.

It makes sense, I guess, because there will be such a crowd of shows in the Fall because of all of the leftovers from the writers' strike, plus because it is a cable show with a limited run, so they don't handle it like a "typical" show, but it doesn't make it any easier to wait!
And, I wouldn't think that Sean is leaving. I don't think the show could survive if one of the two leads left.
i dont think they will kill sean off.. and it will be back on in the fall.. that was the season finale
