A very appropriately named series...Most of those who watch were lost totally after he second episode, which was when I too stopped watching it...

I 've watched them all from the beginning, and I'm just as lost now as l was at the start, hopefully it will all become crystal clear at some point, l hope!
Michael must have been hired to get on the boat, he's most likley been in contact with Ben since he seems to be Ben's 'Man on the boat' so he could have made it back to civilisation, or when he got the boat from Ben at the end of Series 2 and be gave him some co-ordinates to follow they could have taken him to the boat, but before he made it Ben contacted him and asked him to sabotage the ship because Ben has known that the ship was there. I'm not sure where Walt is, he could have been taken back to civilisation by someone else, or Michael could have made it to help before finding the boat, or he could have even found a way to get back on the island. Jin may not be dead, since the date on his grave was the date of the crash, the Oceanic 6 seem to be covering up who is dead and who isn't for some reason.
We're guessing that Michael has been on the freightor ever sense he left on the speed boat with Walt.
Now we don't know where Walt is, but with his "special" powers, we don't know what kind of things he can do.
And Jin, well we know he's dead, and hes no an oceanic 6 member.
But we don't know how he died yet.
The next episode should answer at least your Michael question. Its called "Meet Kevin Johnson" which is the name he's using on the boat.
I'm sure at some point we'll find out the answers to your other two questions, but as of right now we don't know.
