They are saying his Dad is the "Stage dad from Hell" Apparently, he is at all the rehearsals and he yells at David and tries to get everything perfect- he has even withheld water from the poor kid! Also years ago on Star Search he was banned from the set and they said he was taunting David's competition! He pushes him really hard to the point where David has been in tears! I've seen alot of it on Youtube today that his dad is like psycho with him backstage and pushes him. I haven't heard anything...just what people are posting on youtube.
I hear he is a giant tool and pushes him really hard in which he screams at him if he doesn't think he is singing well. I feel bad for the kid but I don't pity vote.

I didn't know any of this. David is my absolute favorite of the contestants. He is so sweet and a total natural at singing. If his Dad is mean and pushes him too hard, they should ban his Dad from the set. But with David being a minor, that would probably be hard to do. Poor David. That's sad.
