Thoughts on American Idol last night??!
Question: I didnt like it at all! The only person that I really liked was David Archuleta!! He was amazing...other then that I found it to be really weird and awkward dancing.

It was a bad episode yesterday. I'll rank the performances as I saw them.
1. David A.- nice rebound from last week.
2. Carly- I really like her. She's good.
3. David C.- He was good. I didn't like the voice box thing.
4. Brooke- It was bad by her standards but still decent.
5. Syesha- She was OK.
6. Chikezie- He was OK.
7. Jason- Pretty bad and cheesy, IMO.
8. KLC- Good by her standards. But still pretty bad.
9. Michael- Terrible. He has really fallen IMO.
10. Ramiele- That hat was cheesy. She was awful.
11. Amanda- I can't stand her voice and obvious lack of talent. I hope we've seen the last of her.

Great choice of word.....awkward!! The whole night was weird, the contestants talking back, Randy constantly plugging Paula's song, Simon being....well, Simon lol!
I'm sorry, but the "golden child" David Archuleta is getting on my nerves at this point.

It was a bad idea to have back to back weeks off Beatles songs. I love the Beatles and I liked the first week, but this week it was weak and for the contestants it only got worse. A few redeamed themselves from last week, but those who were really good last time couldn't sustain that level of performance.
Weird.
And David Archuleta was my favorite too.
He is adorable.
But everyone else was amateurish. Not a good night.

Yes, what an awkward night. Kristy wanted to blow Simons Socks off in a desperate attempt to hang on one more week, Brooke danced around in a acid induced whirling dervish of yellow and yelled weeee or something weird(she must have stolled Paula's pills). Cook fell down. Chickeze was manic and the rest of them looked to be on Bennies. Paula was sober and this puzzled me, she was even somewhat coherent. I found it embarrassing to watch.=
Last week when I heard they were doing Beatles week again this week, I posted on the AI website that I hope David A. sings The Long & Winding Road. Partly because it is my favorite Beatles song and partly because if anyone can sing it good, it would be him. When I saw he was singing it I was so happy. I have listened to it so many times this morning and still get goosebumps. He made an already beautiful song more beautiful and I hope he wins. As for the rest, I thought Michaels Johns did good and didn't deserve the bad reviews he got. As for the rest...boring and uninteresting.
on a whole..i thought it was horrible...these contestants aren't picking the right songs for them to truly showcase their talents....i haven't really been wowed by any single performance this season so far....yes there were a few highlights a few good performances...but none were from last night.....i think it was a mistake for them to continue with the beatles...lennon/mccartney bit..they should've just moved on to another category...i know they'll probably due a top 40 catergory soon....as they have in the past where they sing what's currently on the charts...i would like to see how that would pan out....
i agree w/ u. simon even said that david was 'master class' so he'll def be safe this wk. carly was all rite. but everyone else did horrible.
i knew as soon as they announced that this week would be the same theme that it would suck. and what do ya know. it was horrible!!!!!!

I agree with you about American Idol last night. I didnt like it at all. It was boring. The only standouts last night were David Archuleta and Carly Smithson. David did better this week than he did last week. Last week his peformance were a mess. He forgot the lyrics to the song last week. The kids singing more Beatles songs again this week was an overkill. Totally Boring. I hope they sing different stuff next week and please no more Beatles songs
