I'm w/ you - it is GROSS! They've changed the personality of this Stephanie so many times since she started on the show. I guess since Max didn't work w/ Morgan, Chelsea or Mimi, who else can they hook him up with?.....(kate LOL)
myself i would like for them to get back together...if u remember now that john is a brady/demira then sammi and ej are related because of roman, and look at shawn and belle..theres no blood relation but marlena and john are married...u gotta admit its a good soap opera to watch tho.....

I don't think that will happen. Max is technically her uncle, but not by blood. She didn't grow up knowing him as her uncle, in fact a few years ago, Stef and Abby hadn't a clue who he was when he came into town. Apparently the family never talked about him and Franky for all those years. BTW--EJ is not related to Roman, therefore Sami is not related to EJ.

ej is not related to the brady's because his father has a different mother and she was not a brady
John is a Brady and EJ is his nephew that would make him related to the Bradys in a way. So EJ by marriage is Sami's cousin. That is what I think the person above ment. I do not see anything wrong with it they were not raised around one another and it is a Soap Opra there are not many familys in the little make belive town of Salem..lol
John and Roman are related because of Colleen. EJ is related to John because of Santo and Stefano. But Sami and EJ are not related by blood at all.
As far as Max and Stephanie go, Max is not a blood relative so it is okay for them to date.
I agree with you but Max and Stephanie are adults and they will not necessarily listen to their mothers if their feelings for each other are strong enough. Also, both Kayla and Caroline seem supportive of the relationship so I don't think they will intervene in any way.
I don't like this relationship but what bugs me the most is the fact that they blatantly ignore the family ties in conversation. It's always 'your family' and 'my family' and never 'our family'.
Yeah I don't like that story line or the Chelsea/Max either- he is her uncle too. In the real world, that would not fly. I am sure they could bring new people in for them. I really liked the whole, Max/Mimi connection and they could hook Stephanie and Phillip up. Max/Abby would have been good too.
Making John a Dimera really screwed things up.

I personally like them as a couple, there are no other good characters their ages. As far as any kind of family relation, there is no biology linking them together. Stephanie also didn't grow up in Salem, she and Kayla left town when she was small. Max was also gone for a long time. They didn't even know each other when they first meet if I am remembering correct.
