Question: I'm not going to get to watch American Idol tonight... can someone give me a recap of what everyone sang and what the judges thought??

Amanda was first she sang "Back in the U.S.S.R" the judges said it was good but pretty much the same as all her other performances.
Kristy was next she sang "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" judges thought it was better than last week but not good.
David Archuletta was next singing "The Long and Winding Road" judges thought he was back on his game.
Michael Johns sang "A Day in the Life" Simon thought it was a mess and Randy and Paula thought it needed work.
Brooke White sang "Here Comes the Sun" judges thought it was awkward.
David Cook sang "Day Tripper" Paula and Randy loved it and Simon thought David looked smug and that David thought it was better than it actually was.
Carly Smithson sang "Black Bird" Paula and Randy liked it but Simon thought it was indulgent.
Jason Castro sang "Michelle" judges didn't like it but said he was good looking so it would help him.
Syesha sang "Yesterday" all the judges loved it and thought it was her best performance.
Chikezie sang "I've Just Seen a Face" the judges liked it but didn't love the harmonica part.
Last was Ramiele she sang "I Should Have Known Better" the judges thought it was so so.
People sang, Judges talked. WHO CARES???

Tonight was the first time I've ever watched American Idol - I only watched it because an earlier question today mentioned that they were doing Beatles songs. All in all, it was all pretty lame, except for that 17 year old kid - he did "The Long and Winding Road" - he was fantastic.
