I mean jez, how many weeks are we in and NO one has got to sing anything current yet? Hell if that was the case Kady Mallow woulda KILLED people that only know how to do older songs or ballads like David Archelleta and Brooke White. That girl WAS Pop but never got to do it! Sad..hell I'm wondering by top 3 if they are gonna be allowed to do something in the fricken 90's even. Absurd.
Honestly let me break down this season. It's nothing special, really. The only aspect that I see them toting this as 'best top 24/12/10' ever is that the majority of the contestants know what they are good at and do it consistantly. Ok that doesn't sound like a problem right? Wrong! It gets BORING. OMFG Thank you Simon for finally saying what we've been saying since fricken top 20 that Amanda Overmyer is boring and does the same thing! No **** sherlock!! Took em till top 10 to figure that out?! I mean SERIOUSLY. Then you got David doing ballads none stop and having all the girls scream. That's all fine and dandy but can you do an upbeat song? Of course you can't, you would suck at it.
There's NO versitility this season! Everyone does that ONE thing they are good at. Whatever happened to being great at more than just one theme or tempo like real American Idols like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood hell even Fantasia and Jordin Sparks are vastly more versitile than everyone this season!
Brooke White showed some spunk tonight but it was a little too much (she drink or something before she went on jez? LOL, liked the spunk) but aside from that really unentertaining personas this season.

Yeah, the Beatles theme was great the first week, but this week they kinda wore it out...plus I think a lot of the songs were too hard for them to sing. I hope next week is a little more exciting!
