i think Priscilla will get alot of votes from Elvis fans, But I am a huge Elvis fan and she will not get my vote.
I know what you mean! Priscilla was SO boring. With all that work she had done on her face, she can't even show expression!! I guess the judges gave Marissa a low score because she didn't follow the rules of the dance. I realize that that is a HUGE part of the dance, but I think there should also be a fun factor to it!! That's not the right word, but Marissa really got the crowd going, and she was so much fun to watch!! Monica also got a 15, and her dance was not nearly as good as Marissa!! I am getting a little ticked at the judges!
Well Marissa did mess up a little but I don't think she deserved the same score as Steve Gutenberg (and she got an 18, not 15) and I don't think that Priscilla should have gotten a 24 which was the highest male score from yesterday! I think she got points for being the oldest person on the show ever...
She's been out there a good long time. They're taken it easy on her just like they did with Wayne Newton and the other oldsters. They don't want to be too mean. But the new talent has to take it . It is their rite of passage so to speak.
I think the judges were so harsh with Marissa because she is an obviously talented dancer. Her routine really was more hip hop than cha cha and the judges said she messed up a step or something. If you gave her back one point for the mess up (had she not done it) and one point back for the hip hop then she would have gotten a 24 as well.
Priscilla really wasn't all that bad - the death drop was good and Louis is an amazing partner. The Foxtrot is more forgiving for an older competitor - it's going to be interesting to watch Priscilla in the Latin round.
My vote tonight is going to Kristi. She was amazing.
