GH fans, even though it's over now, why did Diego kill Coop?!
Question: I really never understood any of it but especially Coop. Wouldn't it have been wiser if he kept Coop alive since he was the one under suspicion?

I think Coop was onto Diego and Diego killed him simply to shut him up.
Coop was on to Diego and even found out where he was hiding so he had no choice but to kill him
Because Cooper found him out and he had to do away with him because he wasn't finished killing people.He was still out for Sam.
Coop was starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together. And - Diego couldn't have coop figuring it out who the the tmk. So - Diego had to kill coop in Oder to keep him quiet about him being alive. So - Diego killed coop because he was getting to close to the truth about everything that has been going on.
Coop was snooping around the Sewer because his investigation of the TMK case lead him there. When Diego thought that someone might know how he got from place to place without being seen, THAT was what scared him.
Then he made it look like Coop killed himself because he couldn't take the guilt.
I don't think he really knew Coop at all, but he knew Maxie, she sent him to jail.
I think I read that Coop was simply getting close to finding out the truth about the TMK, so Diego offed him.
Coop found out he was the TMK and where he was hiding. As the only person who knew that he was a killer, and how to find him (and therefore alert the authoirties or others who would have wanted justice), Coop was a threat to Diego, whose whole TMK idenity revolved around the fact that his idenity was unknown. So, Diego killed Coop for damage control. Coop was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and knew too much.
