I asked my Mom and she said it was because "Danny was not there for Daniel alot so it made Daniel mad that his dad wasnt there to support him and stuff" Hope I Helped.
Danny never told Daniel taht he was not his fatehr.
Danny also lead Daniel to believe that Phyllis abandoned him and wanted nothing to do with him.

probably because his father hasnt called or tried to contact him in a long time and also he wasnt aware Danny was comming he just ran into him which was a shocker
