I think he's different, and he seems genuine because all of the other bachelor's on the show (especially brad from last season) were so into themseleves and were actually prettier than some of the girls. :-/ eek.
Anyways, I think he's in for a treat in America, although some of those girls are definitely going to give the rest of us American women a bad reputation.
Oh and his dance at the end of the show was cute, reminicent of Hugh Grant in Love Actually. I can't wait to see where the show goes and who I'll end up liking and who he'll end up choosing. (right now i think the hot dog vendor chick is hilarious)

ahahah I love that show! that guy is hot, and really tall, although his accent is annoying. This looks like it's going to be a good season... the last one sucked, but officer and a gentleman was AMAZING!!!! that dancing was tres funnie!!! tee hee yeah, it's a good show.

My math teacher told me that the producers of the bachlor came up to her cousin asked him to be on the show. Unfortunatly he was already engaged, so he said no. I swear my teacher told me, but personaly i don't even believe her.
Didn't care for the dancing, but..... he's tall, dark, handsome and hot! Hope he doesn't mess it up. Wasn't Stacy a trip? lol lol

Well, my feeling is that it is a bit sad: If we cannot get a hold of at least one more hot American-born and residing-in bachelor to be on the show, then what is the world coming to?
As for this UK "bachelor", Matthew Grant: Boring and staunchy, though likable enough I guess. As for the dancing at the end, it was a "blooper", edited-out or extra-footage of sorts and was Mr. Grant's version of letting loose. This season does have promise, mainly because of the ladies still remaining in competition. A bit sursprising though when Lorenzo Llamas' daughter ends up being on the show and, in addition, selected to move on. What's next? George Clooney's niece. Let's all hope that the bachelor does follow through this year, goes all the way: After all, it was a bit of a downer when last season's bachelor, Brad Womack, rejected all of the women, including each of the final two contestants. As for me? I cope with this show by keeping lots of ginger ale on hand; and, yes, I enjoy some of the cheap titillation.
yes i watched that trash last night. first of all the show since conception has been bizarre. just the whole situation, kissing diffrerent women, etc etc. then alot of it is staged- they send on wackos to make it more intersting- just like our friend in the blue dress last night. its just a totally wacked show- they need to stop with this **** already, its stupid. we are so brainwashed that we actually give this **** ratings. sad, very sad
He's cute. Too tall for me. And once again I thought, boy are American women going to give the rest of us American women a bad name. Stacy giving him her underwear and then passing out drunk and she was still saying he was missing out. What a laugh.
If he's so hot & so desirable, why is he on this show??? Look at the track record--not good. Do you think there might be a reason for that??

and thank God there is finally a bachelor who did not just big bimbo's with boobs, because some pretty girls went home - it will be an interesting season; and I was extremely happy to see a man decide that someone had gone too far and sent the bimbo packing who left him the undies - that was disgusting!!!
