Days: What do you think of the recent storylines?!
Question: I don't know if it has anything to do with the writers strike being over, but since then the storyline has become much more SLOW and a little boring. During the writers strike I watched every minute of every episode, now when I go to watch it from my Tivo I fast forward it thru alot of lines. Like when Hope and Bo are togther in the hospital room, thats a sure fast forward, they can only plea thier love to each other so many times before it just gets old. We get the idea, we know they're not killing Bo off so move on with it already. Thats just an example. Anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

okay girl...i totally understand how you feel...bo and hope were hot in the late and early 90's ...I have been around this soap since my mom was pregnant with me. She feels the same way you do ...she lost interest yrs ago. If you are forwarding as much as you say you are...that tells you that you are close to not watching the dang soap soon!!!...I personally think that the way they played johns role was stupid first of all... I loved John until they killed and brought him back. They need Sammy's twin hot brother and Nicoles hot brother back in the picture!!!! ... Sammy needs to be the vindictive woman she is ( honestly Sammy really brought up the soap..if it wasn't for the way she played a Witch with a B in front of it . I would not be a hardcore fan like I am today. As far as shawn and bell...PLEASE OH PLEASE bring back he originall bell or shut this one up!!...although she is gettting better than her first days on the soap. Well all I can say is id rather watch the commericial during the soap at this point.
i feel that way.. its come to the point i stopped watching the show again... and just read the very very abbreviated day recaps from tvguide.com
I agree 100% with you. Its been pretty poor. I thought it would get better with the strike over but it got worse. Booring
I can't believe they wrote Billie Reed out. I was realy liking her. I don't know if I can be bothered with Days if they keep this writing up.

I agree...it's obvious the old writers are back! The Bo/Hope story needs to pick up pace and get him well again. The whole Steve/Ava storyline needs to be tossed out the window...it's just a complete boring waste. I have to admit that the new John is rather funny but I am anxious for the old John to return...it would be nice if he and Marlena went on a search to recover his memory and maybe do some mystery solving about the whole DiMera empire. I like having Victor back on the show.
i totally agree with you! it is not hard to tell that the writers strike is over and the other writers are back. the stories are starting to drag (steve and ava), and this story about john trying to be a bad guy! oh please! he might be mr bad a** on a killing spree but if he really thinks he can take on the kirakias empire then he is mistaken! victor will eat him alive! and make no mistake if victor thought his company was in danger then he would take over from phillip again! i will keep watching even though they are in drag mode again, been watching to long to give up now, LOL!
better lately then it has been but still boring. wish theyd get the whole bo over with already, get rid of shawn and belle already, and marlena get over the fact john has changed.
Yeah, not to mention how poor the medical science is. If they have to do a medical story line, would it hurt them to do five minutes of research? The first partial pancreas transplant was in 1978, so it is hardly a new experimental procedure. Plus, the first thing you do when someone is in the hospital with pancreas problems is stop feeding them and giving liquids yb mouth. Then the pancreas usually heals itself.
Also, the Grandpa Sean "sacrifice" bugged me because I think oxygen flows out of those masks on the plane even if no one is wearing it. So the whole "I'll die to give you all an extra 30 seconds of air" thing just annoyed me.

No it its just you I feel the same way.Sorry but the storylines were boring before the writers strike. They are still boring. The Lucas,Sami,EJ storyline was boring from jump street.The Romper Room storyline e.i. the college storylines wee slow. They need to get back to the old ways with the Phoneix... bring back Kate's other children Rex and Cassie. Give DOOLS a great storyline to bring them back to the for front.
Yes I agree with u also. I believe the do need to move on now. They made need to create another mystery maybe that's why Nicole is coming back. Still love days though.
Totally agree!! Perticulary for me is the Tony and Anna lines and yes the room with Bo is gettin pretty old. They need to get on with it.
