Now the the strike is over, you'll start seeing some new episodes/shows in the coming months. The only show that just started back up that I'm watching is South Park.
House is funny with wit and all that but heroes is the best i think i also recommend Cath and Kim if you live in Australia
House is a funny show, a little gory but funny. Also Lost is a great show. You could also try Family Guy or South Park. All good shows.
honestly, i've found this show which turned out to be pretty creative and impressive, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. Well crafted and you can totally know it's going to run for a while, and what i think it's so great about it its how they manage the cliches of other shows into this and how down to earth it is. Just a suggestion if you are tired of re-runs or reality tv crap out there and just up for something fresh and for this era's people.
April 10th goes back to NBC's Thursday comedy night which has the Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, and My Name Is Earl.

It has taken some time, but now that the writer's strike is over we will begin to see some new episodes. In fact, CBS aired new episodes of their Monday sitcom lineup last night.
The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men came back on with new episodes last night on CBS. If you haven't seen The Big Bang Theory, you need to check it out. It's one of the few shows that make me actually laugh out loud anymore. It's hilarious and well written. Monday nights at 8 eastern.
