THE TIME TUNNEL began life on Friday's at 8 PM Eastern Time on ABC-TV in the fall of 1966. It followed the half-hour THE GREEN HORNET which started at 7:30 PM. Network TV began at 7:30 PM back in those days.

After THE GREEN HORNET finished its run, THE TIME TUNNEL was pushed up a half-hour to air at 7:30 PM for the balance of its first season, and for the summer rerun season.

The other Irwin Allen series on at the time were VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA on ABC on Sunday's at 7 PM and LOST IN SPACE on CBS on Wednseday's at 7:30 PM.

Had THE TIME TUNNEL survived, it's tentative second season would have aired on Wednesday's at 8 PM following Batman. At the last minute, ABC yanked it from the schedule and put in THE LEGEND OF CUSTER in its place.

Over here it was at 1930 Friday evening.

I remember The Time Tunnel well. ( Project Tic-Toc) I believe it was on a Friday night on ABC. It was only on for one season (1966-67).
The main actors were: James Darren, Robert Colbert, Gary Merrill, Whit Bissell & Lee Merriwether.
The show won an Emmy Award in 1967.
