Oprah's Big Give -- what is this show about???!
Question: I know it has something to do with her giving money to people but they have to give it to others......what happens on the show though -- like WHO do these people pick to get the money, etc......?? Do the people who give the money away win anything? Is is a contest?

The theory behind the show is that she starts out with 10 people who's goal is to "give big". They start out with a set amount of money and then use it to do what they think is best, raise more, give it away, etc. At the end of the give they are judged on who did the best with the money. Who ever did the worst goes home. In the end the "best giver" gets one million.
In my personal opinion, I don't really like the show. Most of the people on the show already have money (dot.com millionaire)so who ever wins will just have more money then they already had. I personally though it would have been better if Oprah had gone and picked random people and asked them for one wish. I would have called it One Wish.
It is about how people give away money.
It is about Oprah trying to show the world how much a humanitarian she is when the reverse is the truth.

Every once in awhile Oprah shows her giving heart by giving
some thing away to her fans. She never does twice the same
thing. I don't know how she is going to handle this wonderful gift? God Bless Her!!!!!
From what I have seen different people have written to Oprah and asked for help. if I remember right sometimes on her talk show she has the dream give away things, it has varied on if they already have people picked out to help and the teams raise more money, or like last week where they were on their own to find people who need help. Yes it is a contest at the end of each show they send one person home, then they have not said but the last one around wins a prize...hope this helps
