Dirt with Courtney Cox Arquette TV-MA?!

Question: Ok well I don't watch the show. Actually never heard of it before I saw the ad in Us Weekly. (I loooove Gossip Magazines, who can resist them?) But I saw that in the ad it was Rated mature. So I looked on IMDB and it had no rating. So why is it rated MA?

I have seen bits of the show. Trust me, it deserves the TV-MA rating! I just read David Arquette was directing a recent episode and he had to leave the set because the sex scene with Courteney and the other guy was so graphic!!
Similar to Nip/Tuck (which has the same rating), "Dirt" used a lot of strong language and shows sex scenes. FX tries to really push the envelope!

It is a great show but it gets a TV-MA due to language and sometimes backside nudity, plus a lot of the subject manner deals with drugs, sex, and other adult matter.

The acting is great and the play on actual stories in Hollywood is very creative.

FX has a lot of great shows....Dirt, The Riches, and Nip/Tuck

Dirt is a very racy show and it deserves the rating that it has. The shows plays into the celebrity world and it sometimes reenact topics that Paris and Lindsay have gone through. The show has lots of provocative moments that deal with drug, sex, lots of swearing, and alcohol. There is alot of backside nudity in the show which is common in most of FX's primetime shows, but the show is a good show and I really like it and you would too.
