Who saw the return of Jezebel James yesterday and was it any good?!
Question: I saw Episode 1 (pilot) followed immediately at 8:30 eastern by Episode 2 ("Frankenstein Baby") and thought I was watching a Broadway play. It is possible that this idea conceived by the makers of CW's THE_GILMORE_GIRLS will appeal to certain demographic sectors (urban, female, professional) but I am not sure I will be watching EPISODE 3 ("Needles and Schlag"). By next Friday the NCAA brackets will be in force and I may be watching the first round coverage from diverse Regionals. If FOX was committed to this (beyond the 8 episodes reported inside Internet Movie Data Base - - see

they would re-air such a pilot several times. The actresses are quite intelligent and the dialogue crisp and cutting-edge but the girls' parents are somewhat artificial and the office setting seemed an awful lot like other sitcoms (UGLY BETTY as a prime example). Don't hold your breath that this series will get an entire run!

I liked it (and now I have something to watch on fridays!!) I owuld rate it a 7.9 out of 10!
