GH fans, what if Carly had stayed with AJ or Jason?!
Question: Would she have been different? I'd like to see them answer that during her "heaven" adventure.

Wow! That'd be great. To see what she could have had with AJ if she hadn't been so mean to him and hoping he stayed drunk. I always thought AJ could have been something great & stayed sober if it wasn't for Carly.

I don't know if she would have been different or not she was already pretty manipulative then. She was respsible for him slipping back to the booze over and over. I would love to see that happen when she goes to heaven too!~
Carly is still self distructive, i don't think it would have made much a change in her..just the bad things she got herself into.
I think if Carly stayed w/AJ, she would have become really bitter, and even more self-destructive. Carly and AJ's relationship was toxic. And it would have been really bad for Michael (although, I guess he's not doing so hot these days, anyway).
If Carly stayed w/Jason, she would have been much happier. But I don't think she would have changed. She would still lie and manipulate and cause havoc.
The great (and sometimes terrible) thing about Carly is she's always been very sure of who she is, where she comes from, and where she wants to go. That's not to say that circumstances didn't shape her character. But she has such a strong personality to begin with that I really don't think a relationship would necessarily alter the person she is, and always has been. She may not always like who she is, but she has always accepted who she is, flaws and all. That's part of her charm. =)
So in the end, I don't think it would make that much difference on how Carly would have turned out, if she was with Jason or AJ. I think she's always been true to herself, and for that reason, her personality wouldn't be that different from who she is right now.
I think if Carly would have stayed with A.J. she would be worse than she is now. It's not that she's a bad person, she's just stubborn and self-centered. Don't get me wrong, I love Carly, she's great. If she'd have stayed with Jason I think she would be a better person.
I don't think it would have made a difference. Carly will always be carly. But - like i said before. She will always have Jason's back. They have a good friendship. Yeah! He puts up with a lot from her. But - jason and sonny are the only real two people who excepts carly for who she really is. Flaws and all.
Actually, i think that if she had stayed with AJ she would be worse than she already is. If you think about it, she actually has settled down a little. Before she was very aggressive and manipulative. She still is but it is a little toned down. Before she did everything for HERSELF, now she still does it for herself but she tells herself it is for someone else.She's at least thinking about someone else when she acts now.
Her and Jason would never had worked out. that's what makes them such grteat friends. He loves her for who she is and who she is is not realtionship material in Jason's eyes
