Question: I walked in from work tonight and my wife was watching Emmerdale....Are the scriptwriters from Echo Beach writing the lines for Emmerdale now?? How can anyone including my wife watch a show where someone as beautiful as the pub landlady (no not the one who likes Jack Sugden!!) is actually pregnant by and getting engaged to what appears to be a 13 year old boy with the voice of a choirboy and the spots and maturity of a 12 year old?? I know it takes all sorts but surely she would in real-life be steered towards specsavers,never to be seen again once she saw what she is with...Please get her a man and save this soap from becoming as believable as Hollyoaks (Oh yes, where he was rejected from cos they couldnt find anyone young enough to pair him with) And yes I know its only a soap

He he he he just can't stop laughing, my, sides are aching. thanks mate. And yes he's gross, Perhaps the same script writer put Andy with what's her name, the goat girl, who never has an inch of dirt on her hand or overalls. What a pairing that is Not!
Hehe I know how you feel. My younger sisters (16 and 13 respectively) watch this local NZ drama that I can't stand. The plots are too complicated and the acting leaves much to the imagination.
Well, maybe she's in need of a good time and wont get it with some pratt of a guy having a mid life crisis! At that age, guys are usually at their peak! So work it out!!! :)
I don't know what your quarrel is,what you've just described (as much of it as I could convince myself to read) sure as hell sounds like a soap opera to me.
Why turn it into something more important than it actually is?(or isn't).
I don't watch Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Echo Beach, Home and Away, Neighbours. There are others I don't watch, but like Eastenders and Corrie.

I havent kept watching echo beach But I think they are the most unconvincing couple in Soap,No Electricity at all ,I dident think she was pregnant ,I think she might have had a scare
