Simon the american version of kyle sandliands and dicko he isn't the best but he adds some comedy and truth to the show he is very upfront he also adds controversy i like

Simon and Ryan both can stay along with the band. They are all we need anyway! Simon speaks the truth and America listens to him and Ryan pesters the crud out of him. It's hilarious. The band .. never a complaint!

The director who places the three "judges" at a table where one can poke and prod the middle person as well as distract her while she is listening or making an audible response to the show - - set them up in adjoining but not overlapping areas
The music and presentation staff who coordinate quite elaborate numbers for some contestants while others are left with "bare" presentation suggestions and minimal staging
