yes, I can confirm Jin had a flashback.
As he went back to the store to get another panda, the guy handed him a stuffed animal (a dragon) telling him something about being the year of the Dragon. The korean zodiac calendar is the same as the chinese one, with the same signs.

I like the idea that Jin faked his death. Possibly Mr Paik made him do it so that Jin would still work for him and not attract attention to the orginization.

At first I was confused. But then I realized Jin was having a flashback two months after he was married to Sun. Then Sun had a flashfoward which she was having a baby and Jin died I guess. I don't know how.

i mean did they really make a flashforward and flashback in the same episode. thats way to confusing. i mean hes clearly dead. unless he is like faking his death or something. that would be too over the top i think though. this is so confusing lol

I'm not sure how and when he died...bringing the panda was in the past because he said that he was only been married for 2 months. I think that if they didn't get off the island then everyone else (meaning the oceanic 6) said that the rest of the survivors were all dead.Because there is a secret that they are all holding...that is why Jack when to see Hurley in the mental hospital to make sure he doesn't tell.... So maybe Sun had to have a funeral to make it believeable that Jin had died.
