Pericarditis... inflammation of the heart. Caused by infection around the heart. Very difficult to treat. But can be done with a long history of antibiotic therapy. Of course, on GH, they have to throw in the idea that she could die.
She told Sonny this on today's show. That the bullet that entered into her lung caused an infection that spread to her heart causing Pericarditis. Just some more drama for Sonny.
I think she has some sort of heart problem. They haven't really said yet what it is.
i thought it was damage to her heart because of the bullet that is still stuck in her chest.
She has some kind of infection in her heart. It could possibly kill her. If not she will be on medication for the rest of her life.
